Our History

Breathing new life into an 1881 Pocono legacy.

Roots in the Poconos

Long before the Poconos became a premier vacation destination, this land was a quiet, working farmstead. Built in 1881, the Pocono Farmhouse stood as a testament to craftsmanship and enduring mountain living. For generations, these walls provided shelter, warmth, and a gathering place for family and friends.

When we discovered the property, we knew immediately that its story was far from over. Beneath the layers of time, the authentic rustic soul of the farmhouse was waiting to be uncovered and shared with a new generation of travelers.

Preserving the Past, Designing for Today

Our vision for the Pocono Farmhouse was simple but ambitious: honor the 1881 heritage without sacrificing an ounce of modern luxury. The recent, extensive restoration was a true labor of love. We carefully preserved the home's historic charm—salvaging original materials where possible—while completely reimagining the layout for contemporary comfort.

Today, the squeak of an original floorboard might remind you of the 19th century, but the high-speed Wi-Fi, smart climate control, and fully upgraded kitchen ensure your stay is effortlessly comfortable. It is a boutique lodging experience where every room truly tells a story.
